AFSTAL 2017

Laboratory Animal Science meets annually on scientific, regulatory, ethical and technical topics. This year, we decided during this colloquium to treat in a broad sense the theme of “Ethology”.

On behalf of the AFSTAL, I am pleased to invite you to the ^43rd Colloquium of our Association, to be held from 7 to 9 June 2017 in the city of Lyon, whose title will be “Ethology in Animal Testing”.

In line with previous editions, we will devote the first session of the symposium to the presentation of local platforms and scientific teams in the Lyon region. We will then devote all lectures to “Ethology” in all its forms, focusing on the individual and social behavior of animals, neurosciences and cognitive sciences. The scientific, experimental and functional aspects of ethology will be discussed.

Special attention will again be paid to this year’s feedback. That is why we meet again in the symposium program, free communications and workshops providers.

The largest trade show in Europe will be accessible during the entire conference to promote discussion and exchange between delegates and exhibitors. Indeed, all partners, suppliers, distributors of materials and services, essential in the field of laboratory animal sciences, will be at the rendezvous. On this occasion, while participating in the scientific program, you will be able to discover the latest innovations and develop your professional and personal network.

The AFSTAL expects you all many for his ^43rd Symposium which, as every year, will be organized so as to make it as user friendly as studious moment in a dynamic and historic city.
