All you ever wanted to know about Fish Anaesthesia

The Laboratory Animal Science Association and the Fish Veterinary Society are organising a symposium on fish anaesthesia, euthanasia and analgesia in Edinburgh on Thursday 30th March 2017.
The aim is to share experience with fish anaesthesia protocols and to debate on possible refinements of routine procedures with ornamental, farm, wild and laboratory fish. Relevant topics like averseness, analgesia, prolonged anaesthesia or immobilisation, adverse effects and peri-operative care will be discussed. Moreover any documented feedback on survival during or post anaesthesia will be considered.
